The first Hot Rod I rode in as a young teenager was a 1932 Ford 5 window coupe. At that point I knew I wanted one. My first hot rod was a 1940 Ford Coupe. I bought it from a classmate and it was setting in the alley a block from my house. Dad said I would never get my $100 back from such a old run down car. He was probably right back then but I never told him how much cash I had put in it. My first choice was a 40 Coupe and a 40 pickup after that. But I always had that urge to own a 32 coupe like the one I rode in back then. Last weekend I pulled the trigger and bought my dream car. I admit it isn't "the one" but will do until I can find that one dream 32 I have in my mind. I purchased this one from a lady that had lost her husband 16 months ago. It was built back in the late 90's and has had numerous owners with a lot of show history behind it. It was used in a ad for Crane Cams and displayed at several shows with the well known California Kid 34 Ford Coupe. Each past owners made small changes to make it the nice car it is today.

It is running a Pete & Jake’s front end with finned disc brakes. A 350 Chevy Corvette Tuned Port Injection motor and a 700r4 overdrive transmission. The interior is done in a dark gray leather.

This is the first car that I have owned that was not built by myself. I'm sure I will be doing some changes to make it my own. The plan is to drive it for awhile and then sell to purchase that one I have been dreaming about. Although this is a very nice car and drives excellent. Who knows I may be fooling myself and this is the one.
